Government has announced its intention to inject an additional GH¢4 billion into the National Investment Bank, NIB.
In the past weeks, the Minority in parliament had raised issues about the state of the bank and urged government to recapitalize the National Investment Bank (NIB).
It warned government to abort any idea of selling it to the Agriculture Development Bank (ADB). But the Minister of Finance announced that government will inject funds into the bank.
