The Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana, (CIMG), says the industrialisation of the country’s economy and it’s movement devoid of aid requires a vigorous approach to the mobilisation of talents, energies, experiences and resources of Ghanaians both home and abroad.
This the Institute believes is the surest way of resolving the myriad of economic challenges facing the country.
Speaking at the launch of the Institute’s 29th Marketing Performance Awards in Accra, the National President, Kojo Mattah , said many nations who are touted as Asian Tigers today leapfrogged from third world countries to developed economies, within three decades, hence there are workable templates for Ghana to emulate.
Mr. Mattah intimated that it is important to honour hard work. The CIMG awards therefore, is to inspire industry leaders to refocus their organisations into more marketing oriented companies.
Vice President of the CIMG and Chairman of the Awards Planning Committee, Daniel Kasser Tee, explains the process of selecting award winners.
