Members of the Central Regional Shipper Committee have asked government to come out with a Policy that directs all vessels from land locked countries to transit only at the Takoradi Port.
The members believe that this directive would make the Takoradi Port very competitive and vibrant and also ease the pressure and congestion at the Tema Port.
The call came at a familiarisation tour of the facility by the Ghana Shippers Council.
