Prices of Petrol and diesel are expected to witness an upward adjustment between 1 to 5 percent effective Friday, June 16, 2023.

However, the Price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas, LPG will drop by 10 percent during the second pricing window of June.

The Institute of Energy Security, IES said the change in fuel prices is largely driven by the weak performance of the Cedi and the marginal increase in crude oil prices on the international market.

The increase in prices of Petrol and Diesel will be the second consecutive time in the month of June after a consistent reduction in fuel prices.

Currently, prices of petrol and diesel range from 12 Cedis 45 pesewas to 12 Cedis 4 pesewas per litre.
