The Sefwi Wiawso District of the Ghana Revenue Authority, (GRA) collected about eight million cedis exceeding its target of about GH¢7,000,000 last year.
This shows an increase of three percent of their targeted revenue.
The District Manager of GRA, Justice Kojo Abraham, who stated this in an interview with GBC’s Radio Ghana at Sefwi Wiawso, the Western North Regional capital, said the District intends to increase its revenue this year by 5%.
He said the Authority can achieve this through hard work and creation of awareness in tax payment.
