President Akufo-Addo has presented cash awards to one thousand three hundred and 50 Entrepreneurs to start or expand their businesses under the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation plan-NEIP Business Support Programme.
The amounts ranged from 10 thousand to 100 thousand cedis. The move is a government initiative to support unemployed Ghanaian youth through training and funding to enable them to set up their own businesses or support existing ones.
At a ceremony at the Jubilee House, President Akufo Addo charged the beneficiaries to create more than thirty thousand jobs within a year.
He assured the business community that government will continue to work to create a conducive environment for businesses to grow. Bright Ntramah has filed this report.
