Trade and Industry Committee working on regulatory policy for foreign traders

The Nigerian Government has criticized what it calls the “incessant harassment” of its citizens in Ghana, adding that it will no longer tolerate such acts.
Diplomatic relations between the two countries have been strained in recent months following trade tensions.
Speaking  to Radio Ghana’s Ibrahim Kwarteng, Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Traders Association, Chief Kizito, said Nigerians are law abiding, and most of them do their businesses legitimately.
He  advised Nigerians to go about their duties without fear and panic.
Chairman of the Trade and Industry Committee of Parliament, Nana Marfo Amaniampong, said the number of Nigerians working in the country is very large, therefore, they are trying to put measures in place to control and regulate their activities.
He indicated that the Nigerian Government should have a proper way of channeling its grievances if it thinks its citizens are being harassed.
