UPSA Vice-Chancellor is CIMG marketing man of the year

Vice-Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, UPSA, Professor Abednego Okoe Amartey, was last night adjudged Marketing Man of the Year 2018 with the Marketing Woman of the Year going to the Managing Director of SIC Life,  Rev. Dr Mrs Elizabeth Wynns-Dogbe.

This was at the 30th National Marketing Performance Awards in Accra.

The Kyidomhene of Assin Juaben in the Assin Atandanso Traditional Area, Nana Akogyei Yeboah who was the Special Guest of Honour charged the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana to use lessons learnt in the past 30 years of the Awards to develop the right synergies to build a successful future especially for the Institute and the Awardees to work together to use the scheme for positive growth.

He encouraged the CIMG leadership to lean back, interact with the awardees as well as corporate Ghana for the further development of the scheme.

Nana Yeboah commended the Chartered Institute of Marketing for upholding the sanctity of the Awards over the past 30 years without any of the scandals associated with the organisation of these schemes.

President of the CIMG, Kojo Mattah in a valedictory speech called for total support for his successor to carry on with a renewed passion and vigour.

Other Award winners include Graphic Communication Group ⁠— Media Organisation of the year, Mamfe Methodist Girls SHS for their performance at the World Robotics Competition, Talented Kids of TV3 ⁠— TV programme of the year with the Radio programme of the year going to Asempa FMs Ekosii Sen.

The bank of the year went to Stanbic bank with the motor firm of the year going to Silver Star Automobile, manufacturers of Mercedes Benz.
