Vice President of the Bank of Montreal in Canada, Scott Brison has described the Western Region as a good destination for investment opportunities.
He said, his bank is ready to partner businesses in sectors such as mining, energy and infrastructure which is it’s main focus. Mr Brison was on a working visit to the Western Region as part of his tour of the country.
Vice President of the Bank of Montreal, Canada, Scott Brison addressed an investment forum organized by the Western Regional Coordinating Council at Sekondi on opportunities available in the region for the mutual benefit of the people and potential investors were presented.
Mr Brison’s visit is a reciprocal one to that of a team from the Western Region led by the Regional Minister, Kwabena Darko-Mensah who participated in the Global Petroleum Show in Calgary, Canada a month ago.
Mr Brison praised Ghana for improvements in its economic indicators.
The Western Regional Minister, Mr Darko-Mensah , said investing in the region is cost effective because of the availability of all the factors production.
He therefore urged Mr Brison to be a good ambassador of investment opportunities in the region.
Mr Darko Mensah assured him of his administration’s support and cooperation for a worthy cause.
