Christmas presents opportunity to reaffirm faith, hope, and trust in God-Prez Akufo-Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on behalf of his family and the government, extended season’s greetings to Ghanaians in a televised message on his FaceBook Timeline.

President Akufo-Addo in the Christmas and New Year message reassured Ghanaians of a beter times ahead.

He said Christmas presents the opportunity to reaffirm faith, hope, and trust in God and also to remember God’s ever ending love to mankind.

According to the president, the birth of Christ continues to be the story of hope,and thrive the midst of adversity and uncertainity..

President Akufo-Addo said Christmas should reinforce the can do spirit and that Ghanaians should put their shoulders on the wheel no matter the circumstances..

According to him, ” having inherited a bad situation,I know we are not where we ought to be, but one thing of which I’m confident, is that the signs of a better and a brighter tommorrow is clear”

President Akufo- Addo said the achievement of his government in office so far even though modest, have been appreciable and visible.

He said his government has laid a strong foundation for future prosperity.”We have worked very hard over the last 23 months to create a much stronger economy, reducing inflation and fiscal deficit and projectors 7.9 percent GDP Growth this year following the 8.5 percent recorded in 2017″.

“We have put thousands and thousands unemployed Ghanaians back to work.”
These developments he said can only bode well for the fortunes the country and for the people.

President Akufo-Addo said he is looking forward to 2019 with the sense of hope and optimisim because Ghanaians are certainly on the right path.

“Next Year promises to be a good one.. I encourage you to join hands with the government in building a progressive, prosperous Ghana we all want”

He asked Ghanaians to be responsible and stay safe during the festive period and also to avoid doing anything that will put lives of loved ones, and others in harm’s way.

“Let us be blessings in the lives of those in need and through or actions be a good cheer and glad tidings of great joy to all.. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year”
