Parts of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) office near the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange have been gutted by fire.
CNR reports that some personnel from the Fire Service are currently trying to contain the fire.
Some eyewitness say the fire has been blazing for over an hour-and-a-half. It took the fire service about an hour to get to the fire scene.
The firefighters are having difficulty battling the fire.
There are about three fire tenders around.
Meanwhile some officials of the GRA were at the scene.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
