Kintampo Health Research Centre gets $30,000 to support COVID-19 testing

The Kintampo Health Research Centre in the Bono East Region is close to testing for COVID-19.

This is because a benevolent resident Razak Awudulai has donated a check for $30,000 to the centre for the acquisition of a COVID-19 testing machine known as Quantitative Polymeric Chain Reaction System, QPCR, needed to make it a COVID-19 certified testing Centre.

Correspondent Freda Abban witnessed the handing over of the Cheque to management and reports that the ceremony coincided with the official announcement of the 1st COVID-19 case recorded in the Bono East Region.
