The ongoing Voter Registration exercise in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency has been characterised by confusion as prospective registrants do not know the centers for Phase two of the exercise.

Scores of residents had queued up at the Emmanuel Eye Clinic Registration Center at Shiashie as early as 2 a.m. to register only to be told the exercise was not happening there.

Residents say they are surprised at the development because several posters of the MP for the area, Lydia Alhassan cited at vantage points in the constituency indicate that the second phase of the registration exercise would go on at the Emmanuel Eye Clinic Center and the Presby JHS Abotsiman one and two centers.

A 65-year-old man, who was also in the queue to register, said although he is aware of arrangements for the aged to register at the EC District office, he does not know where the office is located in the constituency.

Reports indicate that the registration will go on at the Emmanuel Eye Clinic Center from July 16.
