Traders at the Ashaiman Mandela Market, are adamant despite calls on Ghanaians to ensure strict personal hygiene to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
A visit by Radio Ghana to the market showed, that most traders pay little or no attention to the directive by the President to cover their mouths and noses when coughing or sneezing.
Others were not using hand sanitizers before serving customers especially traders of smoked fish, fruits and food vendors.
Some foodstuffs were also displayed in open space with little regard for the impact of the disease.
