The Ashanti Regional Director of Health, Dr. Emmanuel Tenkorang has expressed concern about reports of stigmatisation against persons who have fully recovered from Covid-19.
He described the development as unacceptable, as it will rather drive people away from getting screened, tested and treated.
He was speaking at a weekly Media Briefing in the Region.
Ghana’s total confirmed Covid-19 cases as at (08:50GMT) Wednesday, April, 22 stood at 1,042 with 99 recoveries and 9 deaths.
