Police in the Northern region has arrested seven persons at Wapuli in the Saboba district for killing at least four cows.
A police patrol team saw the men carrying the carcass in a tricycle and upon interrogation, found out they had killed the cows belonging to some herdsmen. Sources within the police say the incident is not connected to the Zakole attack which happened in the neighboring district of Yendi. The suspects are in Police custody assisting with the investigation and will be arraigned before the court on April 19, 2022.
