According to him, “all the current Regional Chairpersons are potential Regional Ministers, this is possible, it can come be done under my leadership”.

Mr. Bagbin, a Lawyer by profession proposed a constitutional amendment to make The National Chairman of The party, The Leader of The Party not the current practice where The sitting President is The leader of The party.  The Regional Chairman must be made the leader of The Party at the Regional level as well as the Constituency Chairperson, The Leader of The Party at The Local level.

He said, we must give power to our people for better administration of The Party as separate entity….. “You cannot make your son the leader of the family if you are still alive”, he stressed.

“When you give me power, I shall empower you to continue to give me power to create opportunities, jobs and reduce poverty in Ghana”.

Alban Sumani Kingsford Bagbin, ASK BAGBIN for short entreated delegates to welcome and listen to all other aspirants, but they must vote wisely. He however, asked them to vote for him in the upcoming delegates’ congress to elect The Flagbearer slated for December, 7th 2020 Presidential election.
