Minister of Education Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh has suggested reduction of Tertiary Education from 4 years to 3 years.

The proposal is generating national debate because already graduates are unable to fit into the world of work.

GBC’s Radio Ghana sought the views of Professor Baffour Agyeman Dua who believes the Ministry must tread cautiously in calling for reduction from the 4 years to 3 years because the implications are dire.

Professor Agyeman Dua also called for a national debate on the issue before implementing such a major policy.
