An Economist with the Department of Public Administration and Health Services Management at the University of Ghana Business School, Dr. Gordon Nkrumah has advised management of the new University of Ghana medical centre not to limit the patronage of the Hospital to only Ghanaians but make it a referral center for the Sub region.
He said with the magnitude of task ahead, funds to run the hospital from only Ghana will be inadequate.
He said facilities and services to be rendered by the hospital, put it in good stead to attract the bulk of its clients from outside Ghana.
He asked management to form partnership with bigger hospitals in other parts of the world.
