Ghanaian highlife and Afrobeat singer, Kuami Eugene has revealed that he once mentioned to Ghanaian musical duo, Dope Nation of identical twin brothers, Micheal and Tony Boafo that their music sounded like Gbohe which prompted the twins to release a song with that title.

“I told Dope Nation their music sounds like Gbohe and they later released Gbohe, he said during an interview on a show on Kwadwo Sheldon Studios today.

Kuami Eugene also clarified that all differences he had with the twins was settled now even lauding them as a good team.

“Dope Nation is very good but my issue is why one of them cannot be the one to calm matters down when the need arises, they have anger issues”, he said.

Recounting a moment when he offended the twins, Kuami Eugene apologized and explained that he did not know what he had uttered had actually hurt them. He added that he still feels very bad thinking about the fact that he hurt them.

Kuami Eugene joked that if tables were reversed and the twins had said the same words to him, he would have brushed it off because he does not take life too seriously.
