Kakalika, a high-energy song produced by Ghanaian duo, Micheal and Tony Boafo popularly known as Dope Nation has charted at number 13 on the Official UK Afrobeats Chart. This impressive feat showcases the song’s popularity and the growing influence of Afrobeats in the UK music scene.

The song was released on October 2, 2025 and debuted on the chart on January 25, 2026. It is an upbeat blend of Afrobeats, Amapiano, and hip-hop influences, celebrating resilience and confidence. It’s a dance-ready anthem with infectious beats and witty lyrics, perfect for getting the party started with a dance challenge catching fire on TikTok and Instagram. 

The music video is a vibrant celebration of Ghanaian street culture, youth energy, and creativity, featuring bold choreography and striking visuals. 

DopeNation have not made any official statements about Kakalika’s debut at number 13 on the Official UK Afrobeats Chart. However, the song’s success is a testament to their growing influence in the Afrobeats scene.
