Ebo Da Costa dazzle in MTN Golf Tourney

Ebo Da Costa has wrapped up his golfing calendar in a spectacular fashion during the 2019 MTN Invitatinal Golf tournament held at the Celebrity Club at Sakumono on Saturday.

The 18 hole event saw over 100 golfers nationwide participating with the aim of grabbing laurels to cap the year and to also set the tone for the Christmas celebration in their various home.

All Da-Costa needed was the 36pts to consolidate his position at the summit of Men’s Group A before J. S. Turkson and Jack Young Lin placing second and third respectively in that category.

Clement Owusu Darku took the first position in the Men’s Group B, as Flora Hurtubise won the Ladies Group A, with Vashti Yeboah winning the Ladies Group B.

The senior’s category for players over 55 years was won by Helen Appiah and Charles Martey. The longest drive – Ladies was taken by Vashti Amoafo Yeboah as Peter Daglo took the Men’s prize.

Mona Myers Lamptey won the Closest to the pin for Ladies while Emmanuel Ocansey took the Men’s prize, and Kumar Sarwan from Obuasi Club won the Bright Moment competition with a single strike.

Mr. Selorm Adadevoh, CEO of MTN Ghana, in a message said it was a delight to meet and interact after the last engagement at the Tafo Golf Club to celebrate Okyenhene’s 20th anniversary.

He expressed that the MTN Invitational Golf Tournament has proven to be a worthy opportunity for networking and providing leads for business expansion.

“We started this year at Bogoso, we went to Tema, then to Tafo and we are crowning it here. We appreciate your hosting today and we would like to congratulate the Club Executives and the organizers. I can only hope that these engagements continue to get better and better.”

“I would like to take the opportunity of this gathering to share a few updates on our business with you and who knows, there might be a business opportunity for you to consider.”

According to the CEO, their successes have not been devoid of challenges, as they experienced some challenges recently with our data packages but those have been resolved to a very large extent and thanked all for the support.

He congratulated all golfers and the winners of tournament, and wished everyone a Y’ello Christmas And A Prosperous New year.
