The three top best teachers selected for this year’s teacher prize have been given a one million Ghana cedi insurance package for emerging winners aside their prizes.
Minister of Education Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh who announced this at the event underscored the invaluable role teachers play in the development agenda of the nation.
He was hopeful the gesture will go a long way to boost the morale of teachers to help improve quality teaching and learning.
