A 3 Unit Classroom Block with office, store, staff standard room, ICT lab, a library, 4 seater KVIP, and a urinal has been completed and handed over to the Baptist Primary at Tindonsobligo in the Bolgatanga Municipality of the Upper East Region at the cost of three hundred and seventy thousand Ghana cedis GHC 370,000.

The Project was awarded to Asonga Construction limited for a period of 8 months, but the contractor took 3 months to complete the project ahead of the scheduled date.

The project was financed by the District Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT).

Speaking to gbcuraradio.com in Bolgatanga, the Municipal Chief Executive Rex Asanga lauded the contractor for the good work done in his address.

He indicated that the government’s relentless efforts at providing educational infrastructure to improve teaching and learning are yielding results.

He said as an Assembly, education is a priority but given the number of schools in the Municipality amidst the scanty resources of the Assembly, the facility was like a drop in the ocean yet worth commending in the Assembly’s quest to improve education.

The Bolgatanga Municipal Director of Education, Anne Estella Kye-eebo was grateful to the Assembly for assisting in the provision of the school with blocks, to help ease congestion in order to facilitate teaching and learning.

She charged the community to own the school and put it to judicious use.
