For students of the Tamale College of Education, in the Northern Region, lack of furniture remains a major problem.

The situation sometimes compels some students to either stand or sit on the floor, whenever they have group discussions, especially outside of their classrooms.

Authorities of the College have therefore appealed for support to help end the furniture shortage at the college, to improve teaching and learning.

The Principal of the College, Dr. Alhaji Sulemana Iddrisu made the request when the Alumni Association of the Tamale College of Education presented fifty plastic chairs to the College.
