The Management of the University of Education, Winneba, UEW has assured government that the Institution is fully committed to its new task in offering Technical and Vocational Education and Training, TVET in the country.
The government, under its Skills Development for Industry Project mandated the College of Technology in Kumasi, an affiliate of the UEW to exclusively train technical and vocational teachers for all levels of education in the country, conduct research and disseminate knowledge as well as contribute to TVET policy formulation and development.
The Acting Vice Chancellor of the University, Reverend Father Professor Anthony Afful-Broni said this at the 2018 Sandwich Matriculation Ceremony, at the College of Technology Education in Kumasi.
