The newly elected University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) President at the University of Cape Coast, Dr Samuel Boadi Kusi has called for the establishment of an Appeals Board at all Public Universities in Ghana to help mitigate any impasse between the University staff and management.

This, according to him, will bring harmony to help settle disputes amicably without resorting to political interference and the law courts.

In an interview with GBC’s Central regional correspondent, Kofi Sakyiamah Pobi, Dr Boadi Kusi entreated UTAG members to respect the University rules and systems to achieve academic excellence.

On the issue of staff welfare, he noted that it is one of the priorities of the newly elected executives to make sure members have better conditions of service.
