Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Adutwum, says the double track system adopted by Government is a leapfrogging strategy to improve education.

He said data shows that developing countries need 123 years to catch up with advance countries in education hence Government’s decision to implement the double track.

Dr. Adutwum, said this at a Ghana Beyond Aid Engagement forum in Kumasi.

He noted that the double track provides opportunities to eliminate learning disabilities in the country and bridge literacy gap.

The Secretary of Ghana Beyond Aid Committee, Dr. Eric Yeboah, said to create a resilient economy to compete on the global market, Ghanaians must approach development devoid of politics and ethnicity.
