The directive, issued through the Ghana Education Service and Ghana TVET Service, cautioned school heads against manually admitting students or accepting students outside the approved placement process.
“Any head of school found to have admitted students outside the CSSPS, upon confirmation through enrolment data validation, shall be sanctioned in accordance with the applicable regulations and the Code of Ethics,” the directive, stated.
The Minister said the measure is intended to ensure fairness, transparency and order in the placement of students into second-cycle institutions. According to the Ministry, the directive is also in line with the government’s commitment to improving access to secondary education and strengthening the integrity of placement and enrolment processes.
Heads who violate the directive would face sanctions.
