Management of the Ghana School Feeding Programme, GSFP, has directed all contracted caterers to end feeding for basic school pupils after Friday, December 10, 2021 despite the extension of the vacation date for the third term to Friday, December 17.
The Caterers have been cautioned against any attempt to continue providing meals to beneficiary schools, as costs incurred would be borne by the Caterers.
With this directive it is not clear how the basic school pupils will feed while in school.
Siibi Alfa is the Public Relations Officer of the School Feeding Programme. He spoke on ‘Behind the News’, where he explained that it is critical for the Caterers to adhere to all directives of the School Feeding Program.
