Western Region’s Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Kate Andoh Biney says the Service is ready for the smooth reopening of basic schools in the Metropolis and the entire Western Region.
Speaking in an interview with Radio Ghana in Sekondi, Madam Biney said Teachers and Head teachers of the Schools have been engaged and educated on the safety and hygienic protocols laid down by the Ministry of Education to ensure the safety of students when schools reopen.
Madam Kate Biney pleaded with parents to help their wards get all the basic and necessary items such as Water bottle, nose masks, and hand sanitizers to help them keep safe while in school and also remind their wards repeatedly about Covid-19 and the need to obey and abide by the safety rules.
