The Ghana Education Service (GES) has rated the 2020 Computerised School Placement a success and an improvement over the previous years.

Deputy Director-General in charge of Quality and Access, Dr Kwabena Tandoh, disclosed that out of 482,000 qualified candidates, 331,000 have been placed automatically at the first try whiles 154,000 were posted through the self-placement window.

Speaking on GBC’s Current Affairs Programme, FOCUS, Dr Tandoh attributed the feat to a number of mechanisms put in place by the GES to perfect the system.

These include Sensitization on the Selection Process, introduction of technical related programmes as well as the Recruitment and Training of personnel to man Call Centres across the country.
