The Ghana Education Service (GES) has cautioned parents and students against scammers who claim to be officials of the Ministry, GES, Ghana TVET Service, schools, intermediaries or other third parties offering to secure or change school placements.

The GES says placement is free and there is no legitimate protocol placement that requires payment.

GES further advised anyone who encounters such demands to report them immediately to the Ghana Police Service or the Office of the Special Prosecutor for investigation and appropriate action.
