Government has given clearance for twenty-seven thousand teachers to be recruited.
President Akufo-Addo announced this at the Jubilee House when he met Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools, CHASS.
Meanwhile, final year students who will be sitting for this year’s West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), will not pay examination fees.
This is because government has for the first time absorbed the examination fees bringing relief to parents.
