Newmont Ghana Gold has joined forces with the Ghana Library Authority (GLA) to refurbish the Sunyani Children’s Library under the Adopt a Library Programme, targeted at Corporate Ghana.
Under the Programme, GLA seeks to refurbish existing libraries to make them more attractive to patrons while giving education in Ghana a major boost.
The Acting Executive Director of the Ghana Library Board, Hayford Siaw, announced this when he paid a working visit to the Regional Library in Sunyani.
He said government has released funds for the stalled Bono Regional Library Project to resume.
