A team of Inspectors from the National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NASIA), has been dispatched to deal with the 42 reported cases of COVID-19 in some schools at Akosombo in the Eastern Region.

According to the Executive Director of NASIA, Dr. Hilda Ampadu, the team will investigate the cause of outbreak in the Schools and if need be, the schools may be closed down.
