The National Council of PTAs says it has sent a team to Senior High Schools to verify claims of lack of food in some second cycle institutions in the country.

PRO of the Council, Felicity Ahafianyo, said they have so far not received any complaints from members on the shortage of food in schools.

She said the team is expected to conclude its work by the end of October.

“From the National Council of PTAs we have not had any complaints from our unit members but we have sent a team to check from the individual schools if what GNAT is alleging is true but as it stands today we have not received any formal notification that there is shortage of food in schools.”
