Some parents have welcomed Government’s decision to re-open schools after nine months of break from academic work due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A cross-section of Ghanaians, GBC’s Radio Ghana spoke to believe the re-opening is long overdue since most of the children are tired of staying at home. However, others are entertaining fears that their children may contract the virus if the protocols are not strictly adhered to.
They, therefore, called on Government and other stakeholders to put the necessary steps in place to ensure compliance of the protocols for safety of the learners.
