President Akufo-Addo has promised to address the challenges associated with the implementation of the Double track system.
The government introduced the double system to deal with the excess intake of students as a result of the free SHS. But this has been accompanied by challenges and criticism.
President Akufo-Addo said he is motivated by the Chinese adage, ”the journey of a thousand miles begins which a step” and will deal with the double track challenges.
Speaking at the 80th anniversary of Presbyterian Boys Senior High School at Legon, President Akufo-Addo questioned what would have been the fate of the 20,000 students who are in School because of the free Senior High School (SHS).
