President Akufo-Addo in his 16th Address to the Nation announced the postponement of reopening of Nursery, Primary, JHS and SHS One students to January 2021.

The Ghana National Association of Private Schools (GNAPS) has, however, described the decision of full Academic year in 2021 as unacceptable.

Speaking to Ibrahim Kwarteng on GBC’s ‘Behind the News’, the President of the Association, Dr Damasus Tuurosong, said the pupils have stayed for too long and will struggle to catch up.

He noted that when Children stay at home, there is a tendency for them to get into social vices.
