Prof. Anokye Mohammed Adam appointed Provost of CoDE-UCC

A 45-year old Professor in Business Administration, Prof. Anokye Mohammed Adam, has been appointed the new Provost of the University of Cape Coast College of Distance Education, CoDE.

He takes over from Prof Isaac Galyuon who completes his six – year term of office by the end of July.

Prof Adam will be the fourth to occupy that position since the UCC Centre for Continuing Education was changed into College of Distance Education. Prof Adam holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration from the Open University in Malaysia and Master of Science in Finance at the University of Leicester.

He also obtained his first and second degrees in Mathematics at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST and UCC.

He also holds Certificate in Project Management from University of Petroleum Studies, Professional Certificate in Online Teaching for Educators: Development and Delivery from the University of British Columbia.

Prof Adam served as the Head of Finance at the UCC School of Business and currently the Head of Business Programmes at CoDE.

He has more than 80 publications to his credit and has written several Distance Learning Modules.
