Public gives mixed reactions to increase in Covid-19 cases in schools

Government decided to close down all schools in the country following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic last year.  However, with a seeming reduction in cases, schools re-opened last month.

Few days into the academic session, there have been reported cases of the virus in some schools.  To this effect, GBC news sought the views of the public on the spate of the virus in schools and what they think can be done to curtail the rise in numbers.

Whiles some were of the view that schools must be closed down again, others said government must find innovative means to control the spread of the virus in addition to observing the safety protocols.
