Former General Manager at Microsoft and CEO and Co-Founder of World  Reader, an NGO, David Risher says reading is a basic human right and the duty of ensuring that every child can read is the responsibility of all individuals and not government alone.
He said reading will help Ghanaians to reflect on its importance to human development.
He made these remarks at the launch of the National Reading Day held in Accra.
