The Headmaster of the Labone SDA School, Joram Obeng Appiah, has appealed to parents to revive the culture of storytelling in their children at home.
He said storytelling improves literacy skills as well as instill moral values in children. He noted that Ghana cannot meet the Sustainable Development Goals without first becoming a literate society.
Mr Appiah said this during the climax of the school’s maiden Literacy Week in Accra.
