Conflicts remain an inevitable phenomenon in every society and the outcome is destructive.

The most important thing consequently is to put in place mechanisms and peace infrastructure to manage such conflicts when they arise to prevent them from escalating into violence.

Therefore the collaboration between the Ashanti Region Peace Council and the Commonwealth Secretariat is to train the youth on these mechanisms to become agents of peace in their communities.
