UTAG starts indefinite strike today

CLOGSAG Strike

The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG), is to embark on an indefinite strike today over poor conditions of service.

Speaking to GBC News, UTAG National President, Professor Charles Marfo, urged all members to withdraw all teaching and related activities on campus as per the orders of the National Executive Committee.

He explained that the decision to embark on strike was borne out of government’s refusal to heed calls by the Association to improve the worsening conditions of service of University teachers.
