UTAG to embark on indefinite strike from August 2 if gov’t fails to meet demands

The University Teachers Association, UTAG, says it will embark on an indefinite nationwide strike from the second of next month if government fails to reach an agreement on members Conditions of Service.

Speaking to GBC NEWS, President of the University of Ghana Chapter of UTAG, Dr Samuel Nkuban, said government has consistently shown bad faith and lack of commitment in resolving the outstanding issue for about three years.
