18 students to represent Ghana in VEX Robotics World Competition

Bountiful Technologies has prepared 18 students from different schools in Ghana to participate in the 2024 VEX Robotics World Championship Competition from April 25 to May 4, 2024 in Dallas, Texas, in the United States of America. 

109 students from 25 different schools in Ghana were hosted for a boot camp, which trained the students on several activities, including coding, building robots, and other STEM activities.

The CEO of Bountiful Technologies, Seth Ogoe Ayim, is well assured with the works of the students that they will perform greatly in the competition.

“We are fully prepared for this . Some of them have been part of this for about 5years and last year we brought 12 medals . We are fully prepared to represent Ghana and lift the flag of Ghana and hopefully will bring more trophies.“ 

Over the years, STEM foundation, together with bountiful technologies, have developed students with so many skills, which has helped improve their self-growth and development. 

According to Emmanuela Ofosu, a student and participant in the competition, bountiful technologies have brought her so much change and development over the past six years.

“I have built Robots. Stem foundation has also equipped me with public speaking skills,critical thinking and problem solving skills . It has brought down my shyness and helped me with my team work skills most especially how to collaborate with others.“

The students mentioned a lot of achievements and opportunities that have come their way ever since they joined bountiful technologies. These opportunities include traveling across the country, meeting mentors, and winning several awards. 

Through this competition, students will gain skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and using virtual platforms for all important 21st-century learning tools.
