Fire Personnel Sunday moved swiftly to contain a fire outbreak at a Goil fuel station at Akropong in the Eastern region.
Confirming the incident to the media, the Eastern Regional Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service, Ignatius Baido said after receiving a call, personnel were quickly deployed to the scene within five minutes.
He said no casualty was recorded but one of the three offices on the premises which serve as a storeroom was badly affected.
Mr Baido advised residents and business owners to adhere to fire safety regulations to safeguard their property. He said the command has begun investigations into the cause of the fire.
