Fulanis in Ghana have bemoaned what they call the lackadaisical attitude of security agencies to apprehend and prosecute persons who commit heinous crimes against fulani herdsmen.

They are appealing to the security operatives to hasten investigations into persons who commit crimes against them and bring them to book.

General Secretary of Tabital Pulaaku Association, in the Upper East Region,Yakubu Musah Barry, made the appeal to Radio Ghana at the Temaalug Laong festival of the chief and people of Tongo in the Talensi District of the Upper East Region.

He alleged that 26 Fulani herdsmen were killed between August 2019 and February 2020, but the security agencies are yet to apprehend the perpetrators.
